46th ICPA-NSW 2018 State Conference
March 14, 2018 - March 15, 2018
Parklands Resort and Conference Centre Mudgee.
Hosted by the NSW / Vic Lone Members
The town of Mudgee, in central NSW, is 260km (a 3½ hour drive) west of Sydney. It is the focal point of the picturesque Mudgee Region, known for its winemaking, gourmet food and fertile farmlands. The name Mudgee comes from a word in the language of the area's original occupants, the Wiradjuri people. Translating as "a nest in the hills", it describes the landscape created when the Cudgegong River forged a valley through the Great Dividing Range.
The township has many lovely buildings of historical significance, and the region has a number of spectacular national parks and nature reserves. It is, deservedly, a popular holiday and short-break destination. The area is one of Australia's best-known wine regions, with a wine-making history dating back to the 1850s. It is particularly known for its rich red varieties. There are numerous restaurants, wine bars and cellar doors that offer the chance to taste and compare the produce of the region's many wineries.

The venue is Parklands Resort and Conference Centre, 121 Ulan Road, Mudgee NSW. Bookings for accommodation can be made at Parklands and it is best to make your bookings as soon as possible if you are wishing to stay on site.
